Track problem in Sonar 8 producer edition

Hi all. I hope you can help me a little. I have made 4 track`s. I have copy those tracks and paste them somewhere in front of the song. But now I want to move those tracks a little bit back again. How do I do that? I have selected all 4 tracks but I can`t move them back. I have the snap off. Thanks. Tommy

I'm not following what you want to do.  move them "back" where?  earlier or later in the timeline?

Oh, sorry for my bad English. Yes I want to move them back (earlier in timeline) a little.

no problem on the  English - we'll work it out.

I suspect you may be at the beginning of the song and can't move earlier because of that.  if that's the case, you can insert measures in the front by highlighting all of the tracks by clicking on one and then hitting CTRL A on the keyboard.

then choose INSERT>TIME/MEASURES and check all boxes and add 2 or 3 measures or however many you need.

then try moving the tracks again.

Almost right. I have 4 tracks at the beginning of the song and 4 tracks in the middle of the song. I want to move the tracks in the middle of the song a little bit back (earlier)in the song.

    Just click & drag.

You can control + click each track to make a group selection, then drag all of them in one move

You can also use the nudge feature - this is explained in the manual

Or you can select all the tracks (Alt-A) drag the cursor along the timeline two measures and then click edit - delete measures.
Be sure to select move whole.
