Thinking of upgrading

Hi folks hope you are all well.

I'm thinking of upgrading to sonar X2 Studio from Cakewalk Home Studio 7XL. A couple of questions if I may.

The first is regarding computer specs. I note the hardware requirements are:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 2.67 GHz / AMD Phenom Quad Core 9750 2.4 Ghz or higher 2GB of RAM
I'm pretty close. I have a Core 2 Duo E6600 running at 2.4 GHz with 4GB RAM. Am I likely to experience running problems?

The second question is a bit more fundamental. What benefits can I expect from making the upgrade?

Thanks guys appreciate your help.

Don't ask us, we didn't upgrade ,, ha ha, this is the older version forum.
I would go to the cakewalk store and open the comparison chart and see if there are new features you want or need. If there aren't then don't bother , save your money.

Yea, this should be on the forum above. I can say that you are missing a step sequencer, vocal channel, Beatscape and Rapture LE if you don't already own Rapture.
