I have Metal, Retro, Reel Machines, and I just picked up Jazz Sticks
@AudioMidi for $29.....it's an awesome kit...and I'm not a jazz player.
Indie will be next, then Funk, the Jazz Brushes...
I'm on a mission to get them ALL..and of course, I have no money right
now...so I'm going to miss this sale...=(
I use Metal quite often..even though I don't do Metal...some great sounding kits
Reel Machines is great too...as is Retro, which I got on an AudioMidi No Brainer for $25,
which was COMPLETELY insane.
I'm still trying to figure out how they get all that sound into those small files...
it amazes me...
Just so people know...some say the AD kits sound "effected". That's because they ARE.
but you can turn those effects OFF for just "dry" drums. AD has a lot of editing capabilities.
almost as much as SD and BFD, for HALF the price, nd NOW there is a FREE version of AD. I highly recommend trying it. I also found out that more ADpaks are coming, and a new version
of AD. Don't know when.
My biggest complaint....just as IK does, they have completely ignored AD for well over a year
while they developed Addictive Keys. No software company should EVER neglect their
flagship product in favor of something else. This is what I APPLAUD Toontrack for...
they continue to release new products for the EZ and SD lines, even though they were
working on EZ Keys and EZ Mix....NO NEGLECT.
IK has neglected their entire SampleTank line of Samplers (Sample Tron, Moog, SonicSynth, Miroslav, and SampleTank, for almost 4 years....thats REALLY REALLY REALLY sad. They are
still 32 bit. Bad Ik....BAD IK...
But they sure keep up with the "i" line of products that they've spent all those years working
on.....I think they've had more version of iAmplitube in a year then they have during the
entire LIFE of Amplitube for the PC.
