interface question

I have been using the lexicon alpha interface for all my recordings. However, i was in a pawn shop the other day and on impulse purchased the presonus tube pre (thingy muhgigger) I was wondering if I am supposed to run this unit thru my lexicon in order to record into my computer system?
Using an AKG condensor Mic just to let you know.
Thanks everyone,

    Hi
Yes plug your mic into the thingy mujigger and then plug the output of it into the line input on your audio interface.
Make sure to set your gain input level carefully on the thingy majigger so as not to overload its input.
Then set the input on your audio interface up to match as well.
    Simples!
