Sonar X1 Producer Playback speed

Hello, its been a few years since i have recorded anything and i used to run a sonar 6 prod setup perfectly fine 3 years ago...I finally started getting back into it, new comp, new interface, new everything...so i picked up sonar x1 prod and tried recording for the first time tonight...just a recording of my bands 3 hour jam session so nothing serious...i went to play back some of what was recorded and it was playing back way too fast..id guess around 2-3 times faster than normal time...i didnt have enough time to work it out before i had to work so i figured id see if anyone here knew of the issue, if it is one...is it easy to change the playback speed or is it actually some kind of issue?
thanks

You have a Sample rate mismatch. Make sure your sample rates match between your audio interface/sound card and SONAR.

Go into the preference menu and click driver setting. Look at the sample rate. You can change the default sample rate to anything you wish, as long as your sound card supports it.. As Scook said, they need to match
