    I'm sure they do sound great like the rest of the SSD stuff, but I'm just totally addicted to Superior Drummer. Routing, auditioning grooves and isolated parts, mixing, bouncing is so easy in SD... And I just live that Metal Machine expansion. :P

    One can hope Rain!  LOL

    I just picked up SSD Platinum (for a crazy stupid ridiculous price that I can't EVEN say)
    I already have Addictive, which has been my go to....amazing sounds...
    And I have BFD Eco and EZ Drummer...

    SD and BFD upgrades are on my list....and I've listened to the MM demo and it's awesome-
    I've almost bought it like 4 times and keep backing out!!!

    I have AD Metal Adpak and love it...I'm currently in a fight with AD...they had half off ADPaks
    on Black Friday and I tried to buy ONE....and couldn't...every ADPak I tried to buy wouldn't let
    me...BUT I could put ANY other product in my cart with NO ISSUE!  Quite the coincidence on
    their HALF OFF sale that you couldn't BUY any of them!

    The very next day I went back to the site and tried again...NO PROBLEM!  That prompted
    a Forum Post and a Service Ticket...they relented and gave me a 50 percent off coupon code...
    But I told them Thanx...I would consider that, but wasn't even sure if I wanted to use AD anymore...for several reasons...I already pounced on them for not adding ADPaks and continuing to support AD for over a YEAR while they worked on Addictive Keys....that's just not good business...just like IK NOT continuing support for the ST line, while they release TONS of I-Apps...
    AND that their ON-LINE Installer was a TRAVESTY...they told me there was a new version of the ONLINE Installer in the works...the current one gives you NO CHOICE on where AD installs...it
    installs on your C Drive...like it or not..that's where it goes...and if you do ANYTHING you have to
    Re-download and re-install EVERYTHING!  Can you say DUMB?!
    I have to say, Toontrack at LEAST has the common SENSE to continue to support their products
    WHILE they work on new stuff.  Others can't seem to figure out how to do that!

    For the life of me I cannot fid it just now but there is a text file that you can edit to tell the current on-line installer where to install.

    Larry,

    C:\Users\Owner\Documents\XLN Online Installer\Settings\prefs.txt

    I edited mine to read:

     -- VST Installation dirs for XLN Online Installer
     -- Note: Use double backslashes in paths!

     VST32Path = "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Vstplugins\\Addictive Drums\\",
     VST64Path = "C:\\Program Files\\Vstplugins\\Addictive Drums\\"
    }

    Is that what you want or are you talking about the libraries? Because all my libraries were installed prior to the new on-line installer and I already have all the AD packs. It seems that if the on-line installer updates paks it knows where my stuff is already.

    NICE!!  Thanx for that Baps...

    If I weren't on DSL...I'd edit it and try installing again...but it takes DAYS to get
    everything re-installed.  I have 3 Adpaks....would've had 4 but they wouldn't
    let me buy one...LOL  And I bought Vocal Rider, so will have to wait a bit for
    my next ADpak...I'm HOPING that they get back to the ADpaks..and ADD PAKS...LOL

    And am looking forward to the new installer...IF I decide to keep up my AD collection...
    that's still up in the air.

    I just listened to the CLA demos....omg the snares are killer......alot of clarity and punch with the entire kits....I hope Audiodeluxe has a cheaper price but even at $149, it's tempting

    Yes...I was referring to the Libraries...I don't like cluttering up my C Drive with Samples...
    so would like to be able to put them on one of my other drives....

    I'm perfectly fine with the VST's being there...

    When they go on sale I'll probably be taking the dive...

    Hopefully this is the first of many expansions from Mr Slate...

    He said that at the end of the CLA vid. Said he's created a "complete" library and now it's time to add others to his line.
