A bit late now I know but for future reference and until the bug is fixed I've found that if you have lanes showing while recording those T0 lanes won't be produced. As to getting rid of them quickly, it's a one by one job AFAIK.

Hey Guys, the question sparked my curiosity. After some quick experimenting, I found that modifying take lanes for both audio & midi tracks can be speeded up as a group using the control modifier when selecting lanes using the group select function. Does that help any? Best HeyDan

Good spot heydan. I just assumed that didn't work as nothing else quick groups. Something else learned.

So... Shift+Drag over the uneeded lanes and Ctrl+Delete one of them?

Yes that works but ctrl + edit filter change for example doesn't.

Thanks, Karl. I can't see myself needing to change the edit filter on multiple lanes too often, so no biggie there. Though the behavior really should be consistent. But for those pesky "T0" lanes this is definitely good to know!

Ok I'm just starting with X2, what are "TO" Lanes?

That's actually T+zero, or "Take 0". I'm not sure if there's ever supposed to be anything less than "Take 1", but sometimes it does happen - but only when lanes are collapsed it seems. And since I can never remember to expand lanes when tracking, this thread was a good one for me.

Lol, ok, now it's not clear to me if I need to expand the lanes or not, but I'll find out soon enough :)

To be on the safe side... yes, have lanes open when tracking. That should avoid the whole T0 situation. But if you do get them at any point you can make good use of this thread.
