I really dig the way this chick says "pi" and "sphere" (she says spear)

In fact I am strangely attracted to her.

@bapu - did you read the book?  I read it a few years ago and thought it was excellent.  Quite interested to know how it transferred to film.  Did they have the tiger-hyena-ape altercation in it too?

Not yet, but we just got it (the book). I'm not a stickler abut having to read it first so I'll probably enjoy the book too. I'm a day or two away from starting it.

It was the first time in a long time that "suspension of disbelief" happened to me.

The visuals were so well done that I just kicked back and accepted it all at face value.

It's hard to think it can do justice to the book... there's just not enough time... but it did seem to push the craft of movie making towards a new standard... where special effects make not so special stuff seem really special.

    Awesome.

    best regards,

I think Jonbouy would say that the tiger is just a replacement for the gopher.

That volume of the spear video did not make sense to me.

Unless the spear has some sort of wormhole in it which allows more cubed inches to exist in a small space....

I'm gonna go collect my lottery winnins now...and not worry about spears.
