questions on using the Concrete Limiter

I've watched the cake videos and read about everything I can find on this, but I still do not feel like I have a good solid understand of what I'm doing with this plugin. (heck, most of them actually..) I would greatly appreciate any clarification from those of you that are adept at using this. For this example let's assume it is on the drum bus. So you start by setting the threshold where you want limiting to occur. Considering gain staging, I might have the drum bus set around -8db on the meter. Would this then mean I should set my threshold on the CL to -8 as well, or adjust to the point where the signal starts to slip the CL (red light comes on). Then on the output side, again if the bus slider is set at -8db, would that indicate that the output from the CL should match that? thanks dave

Bump....I am thinking of spending the 39 and am wondering if this does anything better or different than elephant, my current go to limiter.

I like the way it intergrates into a channel strip, but other than that ???
