Syncing audio to video in Sonar 8.5

I have a one-off home project to do, and wondered if anyone has any guidance. My daughter needs to submit a video audition of her violin capabilities to a couple of colleges she is applying to, and I have never been impressed with the sound quality of camcorder mics. So I envision simply recording her with my DAW setup to get the sound captured and edited nicely whilst simultaneously recording her with my Sony HD video cam. The only video editing software I possess is Adobe Premiere. I don't know if Premiere can accurately sync the two. Can I do this within Sonar?
