2 questions how to put own kit together and roll out piano

Hi,
    i am looking for some help i would like to know how to make my own kits that will work in sonar. I have cd's full of sounds they are all labelled up in notes so i know what note goes where but i am wondering how to put together a full kit in sonar i cant find a way to do it within the software and if i have to do it just on the computer in file view i can do but i need to know if they have to be in certain folders and which way the should be put into the folder so they are correct when playin with my keyboard. any help would be greatly appreciated.
My next question is has anyone used or got a usb roll up piano and do they work with sonar if so could someone please point me in the right direction i have a midi keyboard but i want a usb roll up piano for portability so i can run over to my mates house with my laptop and piano. the laptop i am using is an alienware m14x but i doubt that will make an difference and again any help would be hugely appreciated

    Assuming you mean drum kits, I recommend you start with Mike McCue's SD tutorial here:

    The tutorial is based on SD2, and he uses a custom skin that makes it look like some alien VSTi, but it's still applicable to SD3.

    If you're talking about programming your own non-percussion instruments, you'll want to look into creating SFZ files for the SFZ player, or maybe using a 3rd-party softsynth sampler. There are some freeware ones available.

    I don't know what you mean by "usb roll up piano". You mean like a membrane-type keyboard that sends MIDI? I don't know if such a beast exists.

    I assume you mean the roll-up USB 'keyboard' marketed by Dream Cheeky, Brando, etc.?
    This does not produce MIDI by default so would not work with SONAR or any other sequencing software (it's a toy really, as I'm sure you appreciate).
    However, there is a company producing software specifically designed to convert this device's USB output to MIDI - it is donate-ware and you can find it here - http://usb2midi.info/
