We inherited a Manx cat a couple of days ago....
She is a really sweet cat but thank God she prefers to be outside because she has the worst gas ever... gack!!!
So, we have a big screened porch on the back, she loves it there. She sleeps all day on a chair. We have one of the doors propped open with a brick on the floor so she can go in and out. This AM my wife looked out the upstairs window and saw her headed this way with something wiggling in her mouth. She brought us a vole, which she lesiurely killed and she might have eaten it, I haven't found it... ALSO... there was a finch trapped in the porch. I'm sure it didn't just fly in the cracked door, the openine faces back toward the house. She is a fearsome beast hunter.... but most MAnx cats are. I used an XL aquarium net to catcch and release the bird.
She is black with white boots and a little white on her face. I found her and some others that someone had put out in town last year. One of her brothers had a stub of a tail. She had kittens and a couple were tailless and one had a stub. She is now "fixed", 'cept for the gas... ugh.
I think this is going to be interesting. I look forward to seeing what is on the porch tomorrow AM.
