'The Rose' song on Indian Bamboo Flute mixed/mastered with Sonar x2

This is my first attempt with Sonar x2. I had played the song using a bansuri (Indian Bamboo flute), and mixed it along with the individual tracks of the songs. The difference in tone of the flute between intro and chorus, is partly due to moving closer -and -away from the mic (samson USB c01u) and due to the R-mix sonar (softer sound when more tightly cropped).
There was a lot of hissing and harsh winds sounds in the original recording, which was also taken care of well by the R-mix.

Welcome to the forum! That's a pretty rendition. Interesting sound the bansuri has, almost voice-like. It is a little pitchy set against the piano, but that has a certain charm.

Piano, strings, and bamboo flute are a nice blend of textures.  The flute part has some flat notes that could easily be corrected with V-Vocal since there aren't many of them.  Other than that, well done.

    All the best,
