Any chance of a Windows 8 controller app for SONAR?

Just wondering... is Cakewalk or the user community is considering creating an windows 8 app to control SONAR (or any other daw if they so wishes?) I would create one myself, but I am no programmer. It could be interesting. Multi-touch devices + Windows 8 App... great potential for a complete controller solution when space / mobility / connection ports are an issue. I do not think this could be a direct threat to hardware controller products (even them will switch to a touch type of device I guess). Also, when reading in many forums that one of the weakest points of Windows 8 is the fact that there is not a high number of APPS available, I would be reassured to see DAW companies propose complementary apps for their DAWS. Injecting content in the "Windows 8 app community" could contribute to the viability (or "survival") of Windows 8... My two cents. Any thoughts, discussions... or programmers available to talk about this?

Hum... remote desktop. Interesting. Had not thought of that. Thanks for the suggestion. As for Android I knew about it, but I am not very interested to have many devices on different platforms. I have an Android phone and my parents have an Android tablet that I think are great, but I am more interested in the Windows tablets. :-)

Works on android phone as well... Do yourself a favour and try the free download.
Platform really is becoming increasingly irrelevant  nowadays esp with tablets and phones. M$ and Apple would like you to think something different.

Remote desktop "app" ? Are you using the Surface "pro" tablet or just the regular surface?
