Where Are My Plug-Ins Hidden?
I recently purchased a number of plug-ins from Waves. This was my first time downloading plug-ins. I cannot find them. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much. Dan

Dan Have you installed them yet? If not, they are usually located in the 'Downloads' directory for you user login. This is the default, although it is possible in most browsers to change where files are to be downloaded. An easy way to get to 'Downloads' is to select 'Recent Places' from the file explorer, it's almost always listed there. If not, the full path is "c:\users\your login\Downloads".

When downloading them, you can select "Save As" and down load them into a specific folder location, if you dotn know where your pc saves the downloads. Mine saves mine in the download folder on the c drive. Each pc may be different CJ

Just in case you aren't talking about the actual download, which, with Waves is WOLI.exe, the Waves plugins are not located in the normal VST folder. Only the waveshell DLL is in the plugin folder. The actual plugins are in separate Waves folder in Program Files. Regards, Dan

I do see the Waveshell DLL in the plug-ins folder which is the Waves Installer. I cannot find the actual plug-ins. I have e-mailed Waves to see if I had an issue with downloads. In the meantime, I have a more pressing issue: Sonar is freezing on playback. The screen appears which says that I experience a dropout. I go to the folder to try and change the buffer size, but the settings are grayed out. My computer is one year old. I had this problem. You may find your plugins in "Program Files (x86)\ waves. Add C:\program files(x86)\waves\waveshells to your VST plugin search. Waves tech support can be found at 1-865-909-9200 ext 1. They can do a remote logon and help you if this doesn't fix your problem.
