Lost/Crashed Project...help finding files

Hey guys,

I am in charge of podcasts for a church and yesterday 20mins into the sermon x2 crashed. It was my fault not X2's. user error. I was able to capture the rest after restarting. I was wondering if there is anywhere on the computer that the first 20 minutes may be, hidden somewhere like the AppData section. I did not save anything becuase it crashed while recording. I analazed my computer with CCLeaner and it say I have over 4GB of files that can be deleted. I am hoping some of that may be the 20 minutes I am missing.

Has anyone run into this problem and is there any hope in finding that track?

If you use per-project folders and you named the project, then the audio file would be in that projects audio data folder. What I don't know is, if after the crash, you open the same project and continue recording if the original file will still be there.

If you don't use per-project, try looking in the global audio folder (would be set in Preferences). Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in.
