SONG: It keeps me Cohesive
Hi,
I've got a new one for your perusal, and it's here:
http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=12034753
I mixed it in SONAR X2 and this is the first time I've used Prochannel for eq, console emulation and some compressors.
It features the usual list of suspects, with one new addition:
A new toy called permut8, which is responsible for the whole middle part ;-)
Other than that it's
Superior Drummer
Kontakt
real guitar
and a few new compressors...
All feedback welcome ;-)

Wow what a fantastic program Permut8 and obviously there are possibility's to do something more personal of it as you have done John. I like the guitars on this as well as the song itself. Funny sounds./eko

John, this is Great! What a superb example of building tension and interest from start to finish. Your use of texture and depth is both subtle and awesome. I think you'll have fun mixing on X2, as I have. Thanks for sharing.
All the best,
Lynn

I love the guitar tones and the use of a melody to motivate the song.
best regards,

Nice groove. Guitar sounds good. The middle is cool... I don't know how that mutate thing would work in country, but it sounds good in this.

Thanks for listening guitarhacker. I reckon it can screw up country music just as good as anything else! ;-)
