Refining my method...

Hi guys. I'm using Eastwest Orchestral software with Sibelius to compose. I know there is someway of patching these synths specifically in Sibelius but that's not what I want to do. So..I have my template project set up and all my tracks in Sibelius routed out of virtual midi cables. Then in the DAW the Violin track for example is set to input virtual midi 1, output Eastwest violin synth. All the tracks are input echo on so they playback with Sibelius. Here is where the problem arises. I now want to connect a MIDI keyboard to help me write. Say I want to come up with a line for the flute. I can't just click input echo on the flute, or use 'automatic echo selected track' - as everything is echod! Not to mention the fact that my MIDI keyboard isn't set as the input! Any ideas?

Maybe I missed something simple - I can probably input the keyboard to Sibelius and select the staff of the appropriate voice in there - hopefully it has live playback so I don't have to press record
