"CLOSER THAN THAT CAT" { live demo }


another kinda sloppy live demo, raw, with no production and no vocal layering etc... an odd song w/ bit of a spontaneous power trio jam towards the end. recorded with no click; lots of bleed...something weird is going on as well with the reverb plate on Rob's snare; i think the gate may have been left way too open. it is what it is... honest/ minimalistic

    I like this....

    on this computer the bass seems a bit "blurry" and perhaps a tad to loud. 

    I would also bump the vox... but you said this was a live take..... so if it is what it is.... 

    Not bad... like I said I like the song.

    In spite of all the disclaimers, this is another good song by ABV.  Live recording is a beast all its own.  It still shows off enough talent to be impressive.  Good songwriting usually trumps all, and this looks like a trump card to me.

    Live? I'm impressed and think you have catch everything in this Hendrix, Stones, Beatles (#9) and your very own sound ABV - I must check out the other songs as well. Great work. Edit: Reverse is so Beatles good LOL is also something I like.

    hey cool team thanks 4 feedback. ya the levels are kinda a mess but the one take was all i had to work with so i made the best of it etc... i think it comes across as honest at least.... raw snapshots of the creative process
