I´m looking for complete color sets (themes) for Sonar X2
I realy did´nt found anything on google(ing) fo complete color sets, which have mor the touch of complete themes in Sonar X2.
For an example: All consoles (inspector, Mixer, etc.) are much darker (nearby black)
Have anybody made this by scratch and is willing to share it.

...looks more like a mod... I mean just a color setting which is already designed...no more functions or modifications... I´ll try to find something elsewhere...thx.

didn't cakewalk hire that guy that created the backdoor color changes? Whatever happened to him?
Did cakewalk hire him to shut him down?
Is this a case of "when the competition gets to great - hire them and put them in the corner"?

Ben from good ol' England if I remember correctly. User name Benstat???
Very suprised none of his work implemented in X2. It clearly can be done and the user base has been screaming out to the bakers to bring back colour customisation.
Whilst I have never used colour sets, the more I watch training videos on the www an see how much easier is to navigate a session when channels are group by colour it's definately something I plan to get into.
I haven't used any of the mods from bentsat or Panup but they bring a new lease of life to the X1/2 gui

I was trying to chnage colors by myself to give X2 a "darker touch"...I like the "dark grey" style in Sonar 8 where all the consoles and mixer have an darker touch than others...
...since X1 it sometimes feels like an StudioOne Clone, nice but not "mine".
...but I want "my DAW" not a "Apple like: Take this and shut up." GUI.
...even C7 is easier customizable.

Ben created the fully featured toolbar which just sat wherever you placed it

Could´nt find anything in the web, also in the mod forum...maybe I´m nearly blind or whatever...seems to become an lonely winter night work by myself...
It would be nice when Cakewalk bring up a few templates...not only these three examples in the roll out menu.

You are right the Arclight, they are mods, BUT, I think as many users here will vouch, they are safe and completely reversible. AND the mods do exactly what you are asking. It seems panu's darksde mod is what you are after.

...and is the 2.01 for X1c working on X2 ? (with a few "normal" issues due to the new enhancements in X2)

Jimbo 88, Duckbar is fully compatible with X2. It has Dark Side (and other my mods) built in.
