How long till X2a patch do you think?
Early in the new year, or do you think they'll try and get it out before xmas? It's getting just about time!

Whenever it is I'd rather wait until it's well tested and stable rather than rushed and buggy. The only crash issue I have is Browsing audio clips crashes X2 occasionally although that hasn't happenend in a while. There's one or two annoying bugs need fixing as well.

I notice Noel's been hanging around the past couple days making reference to the upcoming patch. My guess, and that's all it is, would be before Christmas. On the audio clips browsing front: When people first reported this I went in and was trying as hard as I could to bring about a crash. Couldn't make it happen on my system. Just sayin... Regards,

Like others here, I now wait patiently a few seconds before risking clicking on another sample in the browser. Or I turn off the preview and drag them into the track to test.

I guess it may be interface dependant. It only seems to be audio clips that does it but that might just be because I haven't noticed it happening on MIDI clips. I was going to say that it hasn't happened in a while but it just has, no less than 20 minutes ago.

breverb disappearing gui? thats pretty much the only bug I ever notice. i found inserting a new pc module (of anything) and then deleting it if necessary fixes the problem immediately. may have already been discussed before though. My gamble is the 19th for the bug fix

I've had the disappearing Breverb once, and the problem has never come back. Watch - I'll go upstairs to the studio now and it'll be gone!

I was talking about the Breverb not processing the wet signal sometimes when inserted on a bus. I never seen the disappearing gui thing.

Sorry CJ, not the disappearing GUI, mine just wouldn't process any sound - wet or dry. But like I said, it only happened once and I've not seen it since.

+1 for making it a good patch that is ready, but I hope that 'ready' time is soon! Then again, I'm on holidays soon and won't get back to music till early/mid Jan so probably doesn't matter for me anyway! I'm really looking forward to moving my album on over to X2, but just don't feel quite confident in it just yet.. But the transition must happen before mixing as I have the LA2A and Concrete which I want to use but can't yet as I'm still on X1 Pro for important stuff!

Either now or after new year. Reason being the company has to remain on "alert" after they release it in case of a serious bug, with staff away on holiday a company cannot react fast enough.
