FL10 VSTi Slayer plug-in... Pitchbend assignment????

Okay. NOOB here..  Hi.. I am experimenting with some virtual guitar tracks and am currently messing around with the FL10 - Slayer plugin. I was trying to figure out how to assign the pitchbend to a controller that I can use in real time while recording... Is this possible. I mean.. It doesn't seem logical to include the pitchbend if you can't use it. I As of now.. When I just manually slide , it doesn't get recorded. I will look into this further. I am not that familiar with FL10.  Can I assign the pitchbend to my MAudio  61?? Do I need to purchase another External Midi Device??  Should I try another program?? I just really Dig the Slayer sound.   Can  Anyone  give me some advice  :D ???
