X2 Issues

I have two current issues. Any help is much appreciated.

1. I get no audio (sound) from sample loops when using the Browser "Start/stop preview button. If I drag the wave audio into a track I hear it fine. Is this a setting issue?

2. My take lanes do not stay muted when I mute them. They keep turning back on when I record a new lane (take). I called support and they said to just click them off and on before recording. When you have 5-6 takes this really sucks. I was told that this would be fixed. Does anyone else have this issue and is there any news as to when this will be fixed. This is such a time waster.

Peace,
John

To solve this one select a buss to preview through. That's done from the media tab menu.

Not in my studio at the mo to check this for you. I use the track mute button if I don't want to hear playback but I guess that's no good if you do want to hear some of the takes.

    2. Hmmm... I don't see that happening here. What happens if instead of muting the other takes, you just solo the take you want to record?

Thanks FBB...I forgot about the bus setup on the media tab menu...that did it. This was a on a system with new install of Windows 8 and this is something I haven't chenged in years with Windows 7. BTW I am late in getting back because I was getting rid of Windows 8 ad re-insalling Windows7...I do not like Windows 8 at all. Thanks again.
