Track view View > Display > Maximize Waveform Height to remove annoying shortcut.

Uncheck "Aim Assist" from Edit menu to remove the annoying bar.

There is no way AFAIK of removing the clip default tool selector. Out of curiosity how does that affect your workflow?

I thought it would go with the header, guess not. Never tried to suppress aim assist or midi clip default tool menu before.

No the header goes using the method you've suggested but not the menu. Aim assist shortcut is X I use that a lot as that does get in the way from time to time.

Yes, that would appear to be the case. I played around with it after posting, should have verified beforehand. That's what I get for making assumptions about what the clip header contains. Well, lets hope it is not too annoying.
