Middlesborough vs Hastings UTD

Through to the FA cup 3rd round Hastings beat Harrogate after a replay and extra time ended 1-1 at the Pilot Field. Hastings went through on a penalty shoot out.

Middlesborough are currently in line for promotion to the Premiership being third in the Championship just now.

The biggest night ever for Hastings Utd has now been confirmed.  A lot of familiar faces to me in the current side having been involved with the footie in this area for a number of years.

Good times indeed.

    I knew you'd get it...

It's great when you've seen some of these lads since they were in local youth sides and now they are on the telly...heheh.

It kind of makes being bothered to stand out in the frost on a Sunday morning  to cheer them on all worthwhile.

I hope they have a great day out, and.........well you never know.......

Who are Middlesborough? Hastings are in a great position. Nothing to lose and everything to win, I almost feel sorry for the bigger clubs playing the smaller ones. *

    * Well I would if they weren't mainly over paid, under worked - prima donnas. "We've had a tough week, we've played twice" - Strange I've had to do my job 6 days this week and I ain't making in a year what a lot of 'em are in a week so "Sympathy" is in the dictionary, somewhere between "Sex" & "Syphillis" - here endeth the mini rant.....

Burgers at half-time just taste better.

On the county league site they used to run a chart on which club had the best burgers.  It can make a difference in deciding whether you go to an away game or not.

It's an important consideration in the non-league game.
