Save Me Save You

If you save me from what you've done, I'll save you from what's going to happen...a sad reality of today.

On this sad day, these words are haunting.  Fortunately, or unforturnately, I couldn't understand your lyrics in the song as the vocal was buried.

I like this. You have slight Wall of Voodoo sound (but heavier). I like the effects in the mix, but... The bass is muddy and a bit low energy, and the drums are almost not present. The guitar is nice, but it overwhelms all other instruments and vocals. I would cut into the mids a bit, and try to find some clear highs. Right now the only high notes are coming from the harmonics.

The mix sounds like it could use a little sculpting to remove some of the muddiness. Like Foxwolfen says maybe trim the guitar slightly will also help.

    Hi Rick,
good work on this so far, I like the synth/organ underlying throughout; very "retro"

the mix needs a lot of work, it's muddy and lacks clarity and low end.  it sounds like I"m listening on crappy $10 computer speakers, but I'm not.

the playing and performances are well done, just keep at the mix and make it shine!
