Are the loops royalty free or do i need to do something else for commercial release

I have the software music creator 6. Am making a video game and I want to know if i can make background music for it using the loops from the software. And later put that game on a website with ads to earn money. So is it royalty free so that I can do this, using the loops as music or is that not allowed? Thanks for the help.

yes... you are free to use them.
so are the thousands of others with
    the same loops.

The majority of the programs you buy do allow you to use the loops and synth sounds royalty free and with total permission. It would be a real pain if they did not. As long as you purchased the program legally (not ripped or cracked) you have a license to use it as you wish.

The problem with the loops in MC6 is that they are so very basic and generic.... as to be useless in the world of video game music. To be competitive there, you really need to be composing your own original stuff to even have half a chance of getting a placement.

Try this: create a song using MC6 loops and post it in the "Peer to Peer" forum at www.taxi.com and see what they say. There are folks there who are in the business of writing video game music and have placed it .... so those guys and gals will give you the truth about where on the scale your music rates. The forum there is free, just sign up and post a song for the feed back...and tell them it's a video game track.

They are not cruel or discouraging, but they will be honest and fair. You can then proceed with knowledge as to where you are musically and what you need to do to get "over the bar".

So I can use the loops as music with ads on my game and it'll be all okay and I won't have any problems?
