Merry Christmas (and a quick tune)

(This is a new mix with the drums down a bit)

I haven't been around much lately - been a busy end to a very good year.
This is the first attempt I've made at recording anything since I had hand surgery last month.

I hope all of my friends here at Cakewalk Songs have a wonderful, safe and happy Christmas. I look forward to next year and hope all of you all have a great 2013.

Anyway - here is a quick version I did of Jingle Bells.

Take care all.

    Hey Mark!
Glad to hear you playing again so soon after surgery. I like this version. Down and dirty and bouncy!

What a wonderful Christmas present!!!  You're back and posting on the forum -- and sounding great!  This was a really nice rendition of a holiday favourite.  Of course I appreciated your playing but I also like the little antiphonal beat that you have going on with the percussion.  Nice one buddy and happy holidays.

    nice tone... funky little rendition.

    Sounds good.

My wife has the same issue with her hand if you recall..... but it has been doing pretty good now for a while.... she also has shoulder problems which she had to have a doc "break it loose" ...that was not fun....very painful.... they put her out to do it. So far she is getting on nicely with the occasional shot of pain if she grabs something the wrong way. I'll let her know your hand surgery went well and you have recovered full extension.

cool... day in the life just started to play... soulful.... very nice.

Thank you and Merry Christmas to you too. Yea, the second mix I did had a lot of verb on the drums - it just sounded better that way. Take care - and thanks again to all of you for taking a listen.
