Export to Tracks

Hi,

I wonder what is the best way to export an entire project to tracks maintaining all track and buss effects to remix on another daw.

1-Do I export TRACKS and BUSSES and use all of them in a new daw?
2- Export to tracks, including all effects and buss effects on every exported track?
2-I guess the sum of all these files will be louder than my (previous) mix and will probably clip?!!!

What is the best way?

regards
joni

U should have a folder called Sonar Projects, this where your WAV files are kept. You can copy those to a usb drive or burn to acd to import in another daw.

I don't have X1 or X2, but I assume/IIRC you don't export TO anything, but you choose the tracks as the export source, which leads to individual per track wav-files. I'm a bit tired now, though, so I may be distracted :o/ I expect export in X-versions to be similar to that of 8.5.

You can't export TO busses, as busses are inside the project and your intention is to get the material OUT of the project.

Hmmm. I don't know if you can choose both tracks AND busses as the source, and if you can, I don't know what's the result. Will the tracks routed to busses be doubled?

LoL No I'm not but I am going to lay down for a bit

If you go to File and click on Export than click Audio you will get another window
In Source category click tracks you have other options there as well to.
Once you get there you should be able to save the files as you would like.

    How's things in Mozambique?
