Kontakt 5.1 upgrade


 A new patch is out. Looks mostly to benefit Mac users though.

Intel 5820K O.C. 4.4ghz, ASRock Extreme 4 LGA 2011-v3, 16 gig DDR4, ,
3 x Samsung SATA III 500gb SSD, 2X 1 Samsung 1tb 7200rpm outboard, Win 10 64bit, 
Laptop HP Omen i7 16gb 2/sdd with Focusrite interface.
 CbB, Studio One 4 Pro, Mixcraft 8, Ableton Live 10

    I'd say that the biggest benefit is to us Pro Tools users - AAX!!!

    • Plug-in migration for Mac OS X Audio Units – KONTAKT automatically updates to newest version on projects created with older versions of the software
    • Mac OS X 10.8 RTAS: Fixed crash on startup


    Like I said, the big news here is the AAX format - NI has been rolling these out one at a time for the past few weeks.  It's a big deal for us PT users, not so big a deal for us Sonar users.
