Track view, FX bin size...

Anyone know how to increase/change the size of the FX bins on the tracks in the track view so I can see the full names of the FX therein, without having to mouse over it?
I can't see anything about this in the X2 manual or by searching here. This never was a problem in 8.5 or earlier versions.....

Not AFAIK but try dragging them into the prochannel, there's more space for names there. (assuming you have producer of course)

I do have producer, but I'd like to see at a glance the plugins on the tracks and busses I have open. I get 7 - 9 letters displayed depending if they're upper or lower case.
That's not enough a lot of the time to ID the plugin - UAD plugins in particular.   I suprised I didn't see any other complaints about that here. For all Cakewalk claims of  improving work-flow with X1/X2 this is a step backwards, so a -2 for X2 on this.  Not a problem on 8.5.3 and earlier....

I have requested more width for the TV FX bin several times. Seems like CW wants us to use ProChannel instead and forget FX bin.

While you're waiting there is a workround. Just change the friendly name of the plugins in the plugin manager to something a little shorter. Double click on a plugin in the "Registered Plug-ins" window of the plugin manager or change it via its properties.

+1 on the friendly names - that's what I do and it works fine.
