ACK!!!! (This means you, too, Strummy!)

OK Steve, you're so pedantic about so many things, why in the world do you have the AZTEC calendar as your avatar?????

This is NOT the Mayan calendar:

THIS is the Mayan Calendar:

They are NOT interchangable! The Aztec calendar (top) is perpetual and does not end. The Mayan calendar is the one that ends.

Get it right, people!!! SSSHHHEEEESSSHHH!!

    I'm confused.

Why would the Aztecs create a perpetual calendar if the world was going to end anyway?

Or why wouldn't the Maya create one if the world wasn't going to end?

Can you ask them to get this sorted out? And keep in mind, I'm in kind of a hurry to find out.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

    Ah, well that 'splains it.

Give yourself a HYBT! (Apparently I won't be needing one. )
