Sonar X2a upgrade

Just saw that Sonar x2a is now available.
It's Windows 8 compatible.
As I do not intend to update to Windows 8 any time soon, will the Sonar x2a still work as before if I upgrade?

Thank's for any help.

I'm running Windows 7 with no intent to change for as long as I can.

You should have no problems staying with Windows 7 and running X2a.
