does copying the fx bin multiple times on a single track strain the cpu?

Hello Forum,
recently i figured out how to use sugarbytes effectrix as
a midi controlled effect.
it works fine on 2 laptops(x2 producerx32)but not
on a desktop(x2prodx64).
i've tried everything i can think of,but it won't work
as such.
so,if i use the insert fx bin and copy that several times
on a single audio track am i asking for trouble?
(effectrix configured as tempo based plugin, not synth)
i tried to make this thread shorter than it is......
thank-you  matt ritti

If you do it enough times, it may or it may not!!. It depends on your PC's power, your sound card drivers, your sound card driver settings, the project at hand and the effects. There are many variables that you need to take into account for.

I can copy a track with an effect on it 200 times and my CPu doesn't stars. But that's my set up. Each set up is different.
