Rolling in The Deep Cover

Hi, I'm new to this game and would like some feedback on the mix and master. I used Sonar X2 and Band in a Box to create the music. The only tracks that I recorded were the vocals and one guitar track. most of the tracks are at -12db and are using the z3ta+ fx or slightly higher and the master bus set around -3db with the boost11_64 fx

Thanks

Darren

    Nice start Darren.

The mix seems a little cluttered to me. The right guitar (the recorded one) sounds a bit too overpowering compared to the rest of the mix. The vox could use some more clarity IMO. Drums feel a bit lost too.

Not a bad effort for a BIAB track.

Who is singing this?  I won't speak to the mix because others are better at that.  I'll speak to the arrangement and vocalist. NICE!!  Merry Christmas!

Hi Darren, welcome to the forum.  For music created from Band in a box, this is pretty good.  I like the song and the vocal very much.  As Ed (Bapu) says, the mix could use a little work, but not much.  Maybe wider panning would separate the instruments better.  You're off to a good start.

    All the best,
    Lynn
