Where Dd My Track Inputs Go?

I use X1. I opened a project and inserted a new audio track. The section where  I select the input channel of my recording device is missing. I right clicked and there is no option to add the inputs. Suffice it to say, I cannot select an input to arm for recording.

Where did it go? How do I  get them back?

Thank you.

Dan

Are you adding the inputs from the track pane (left of the clips pane) or from the inspector?

If it's from the track pane then you may need to click on the drop down menu at the top and choose I/O or All

    From the inspector.

Are the i/O options showing, but there's no drop down menu, or are they missing altogether.

What build of X1 are you using?

Sorry for endless question, just trying to narrow things down.

Have you tried clicking on the display tab at bottom left of inspector and making sure In/Out is checked?

I found the problem-the drop down menu just below the control bar was maked for F/X only. I changed it to ALL and voila! There it was.
