BUG - Cannot automate ProChannel module on/off without ProChannel being open

Just noticing this in X2a so have no idea whether it was a problem in X2 as well.

To reproduce: create an automation lane for the "enable" parameter of a ProChannel module. Create an automation envelope set to "off" and then "on" (make sure it's something that creates an audible difference). Now play the track.

On my system, the module only turns on if I have the ProChannel open. If it's closed, the automation is ignored completely.

I just tried automating the enable parameter for the PC EQ and it works as expected here. I hid the PC panel by hiding the inspector (pressing "I") and then ran playback. Was that how you meant?

I've just tried using 3 different methods. all 3 work as expected

If you simply right click the PC EQ Enable and select Automation Write Enable, it works

If I add an automation lane and select PC-Track Eq - Enable the envelope created by method 1 it works

If I add an automation lane without an envelope being present, it creates the envelope and responds exactly as you'd expect,

If you've created it manually - have you got the "Off" part of the envelope in the lower half of the automation lane? It MUST be lower than 50% in order to work

This was mentioned in another thread and it is officially listed as a "known issue" which means that it more than likely won't get fixed in a point release because it's liable to cause major chaos in other areas.

Interesting in light of what Noel said in the other thread about this being a known "limitation." I will try this when I get home.
