I Survived Windows Upgrade

I'm here and no missing pieces or body parts!... so far
Doesn't seem to have changed much. 
Bring on X2b c d etc!

    Cool, you were able to overlay XP with W7 and have all installed programs work or did you have to re-install any programs, VSTs etc.?

    I had Vista. It was easy to upgrade. I just followed directions on the screen. I doesn't run faster like I thought it would but I do like the layout better. I Am still checking it out

    Ah Bill. That makes sense. W7 is supposed to be the "real" Vista (or so they say).

    So was this windows upgrade from drafty single-pane to insulated double-pane?  Will it help reduce your energy use?

    (actually I have one computer that I need to upgrade the o/s from Vista to W7 as well)

    Well being a computer tech, that's why I tell people to not do upgrades, because one never knows what leftover POS system files are going to get left behind with upgrades and cause system instability...:)....
    why I went and paid for the full version of win7 and man, doing a complete format and install cleanly does make a whole lot of difference......
