Tascam US-1800, Voicelive2 and X2

I am trying to get Voicelive 2 set up so I can feed a vocal and either the instrumental track or midi and process harmonies.  I have not had any luck so far.  I have changed over to Asio4all so that Sonar will allow me to recognize my Tascam UA 1800 and the Voicelive 2 as audio devices.  I am sure this can be done and I can use the VL2 as a vocal processor but am totally confused at the moment. Does anyone have a VL2 working is a manner similiar to this?
