Chord Analysis of a single audio track (X2a)

Hi all,
 
   I thought this might be easiest via v-vocal, but was just trying that and not sure how best to do this. I have only a single vocal track that I want to analyze the notes from so that I can determine the chords to build a harmony around. I am experimenting with different features of SONAR and am not sure what is the easiest method to do this. I am essentially seeking a  "chord analyzer" function that I can use with any audio track. Any suggestions?

    Sonar doesn't have a specific tool for this, but Band In A Box does:

    V-Vocal will show you the notes so you can work out the best chords to fit your melody manually. But it will only work on a monophonic file.
