Interesting blend of styles going on here Rick..Metallica-ish vocals and wah-wah lead, Deep Purple organ and an electronic backing. It's pretty good as is, but very dense from the get-go, I might back off some of the instruments and bring them in gradually to build up the arrangement.

Hmmm... I have to run to work, so I do not have time for a detailed reply. I will leave that for when I return. Cool tune, but, the mix is in need of some CPR .

I listened again and I honestly do not know where to begin. Edit - listened a third time and ... still don't. I am curious about the levels.. and if they are all "maxed" then... i dunno. But this is very low volume and very low-fi.

It's dark.... reminded me a bit of Bloodrock when it started.

    Sounds good though....

    Nice job.

Thanks for the input. I was going to go back and automate some volume levels here and there. JamesG ...  good idea. Foxwolfen...not sure what you're getting at,  a little more on what you'd suggest to do might help me to hear it like you do. Guitarhacker, thanks.... now I have to find out who BloodRock is.

Keep  the comments coming, all the input I get is helping me get to better mixes

Rick, I like this because it blends several styles together, and it's not cookie cutter music.  When you get the mix figured out, it's the kind of song that would be popular on college radio.  Maybe what foxwolfen is saying that it could use some dynamics, that is, some highs and lows in the volume levels of your instruments.  As it is, everything is at the same volume level throughout the song.  That would help some of your terrific performances pop out of the mix.  All in all, nice job.

    All the best,
    Lynn

Thanks again. Thanks Lynn..I got it....   I'm glad you mentioned college radio, as I'd like that as a target audience.  Working the mix as I get some time.. hopefully have it done soon.
