Can I collapse the Clip/Track properties in the inspector?

Trying to get at the channel strips underneath the properties section of a Synth track in the inspector and I can't figure out how to close the properties info. I can't seem to scroll the strips to get at the controls either. Just installed the QuickFix to see if that would help but no dice. I split the track to see if those controls would appear in the console but those strips are different than the ones in the inspector. I'm very confused here.

Sorry for constantly bugging you guys today. I fear I'm going to be running into quite a few hurdles as I work through the manual. :-/

    Click the tabs at the top of the Inspector to show/hide the appropriate sections.

    You can also use the keyboard shortcuts...
    * Show/hide Clip Properties - Shift+I
    * Show/hide Track Properties - Ctrl+Shift+I
    * Show/hide ProChannel - Ctrl+I

    I think Beep wants the full channel strip to show in the inspector. I do not think that is possible.

    Thanks, Scott. I actually just figured out where I was screwing up. I was getting the PC version of the inspector under the Audio tab at the bottom so I couldn't see the strips. When I clicked on the track and clip tabs at the top I could see the bottom of the strips but they were covered up by the Properties box. Now I see that I have to have the PC tab at the top selected and the MIDI tab at the bottom selected. Thanks man. You nudged me onto the right path. Cheers and happy holidays.

    @scook... Yup, but now that I've got the MIDI tab selected I can see MOST of the strips but still cannot scroll. However I remember that FBB told me ages ago that to get at the full strips you have to undock the Inspector and the you can see the whole strips. Alternatively I could just close the Transport Panel.

    Cheers.

    Would a larger/taller monitor fix this or does that just make everything bigger?

    Kind of odd it doesn't scroll. The Audio/PC tab scrolls but the MIDI/PC tab doesn't.

    Nope. Just did the QuickFix today. I know it's not a popular opinion but I'm avoiding the a patch for now. This was a pretty minor quirk. Maybe I'll stumble into something big enough for me take the chance but most things are working. I think the Quickfix fixed a weird graphics thing I noticed earlier today though so that's good. I was getting some weird, barely noticeable black/gray blob in blank space in the console while scrolling. Seems to be gone now.
