is there a way to bypass X2a installion to install on XP?

i just want the DAW. no extra

    ???

    If you just want the initial X2 release (Build 306) without the patch you can just install X2. The patch has to be added later so it is not included.

    However it may not work so great on XP.

     I have X2 running well on XP here. I did try the X2a patch and will not install so X2 original build is the end of the road.

    No, X2 (plus quickfix if you are running X2 Producer) is the end of the line for XP. No more updates for XP.

    Otherwise use crystal meth. Be aware it might not last more than a few hours before you feel you should upgrade...

    Sell by date at 9000 posts. Do not feed.
    @48/24 & 128 buffers latency is 367 with offset of 38.

    extra:dimension , synthé drums etc. just the daw i need.
     
    so there will no way to fix that "now time" bar often disapearing? (known bug on x2)

    The actual DAW now relies on libraries that will not run on XP. The XP party is over.
