to learn.
I finished getting the coils for the mini-humbers wired and now the cover has to
be soldered on two sides to the base.
It's going to take more iron than I have and I don't have a clue...and ya know there
is more to it than just heat/wattage.
I can see me overheating the coil, turning the cover colors...buying the wrong iron..etc.
I'm guessing a 60 watt and wrapping the cover with teflon tape.
Thought I'd ask for advice and tips before jumping in blind.
Side note....I was advised not to try mini-humbuckers. I think the reason is because
it sure is a trip dealing with the smallness of everything. If I don't mess up the the cover
I'll be halfway there. (and if I don't cook them to long potting...they are little.)
