Reply!!! (Is the song's name)

Here's a little acoustic guitar song (could someone name the genre, please?) I did over the last couple of days. It's not done, I have some vocals to fix up before a pitch correction run, and I may add a real drumkit. THe track was mainly made to test out my new EV Cobalt Co9, as the description says.

If you used this mic on vocal and guitar, it doesn't sound bad for an inexpensive mic.  You seem to be aware that the mix isn't quite there, so I would suggest that the finger snaps and synth(?) are too loud.  And, the stereo panning is rather narrow.  That being said, there is much potential for a good mix here which will elevate this song to the next level.

    All the best,

As Lynn says. Much potential. Let us know when you fix it up, as I suspect this will be a great song.

    Thanks for the feedback, guys!

Lynn, from how I hear this, those higher frequencies don't seem too loud (on snything of mine to playback from), but I'll take a look. I will have to delve into the mix, I guess I didn't really see much more to do, but a bit of instruction on such panning and mixing would be cool.

Thanks for listening, foxwolfen. I'll try to have a final version up by next week!
