What a difference a day makes

Yesterday, I'm sitting at the marina in Newport Beach, California, enjoying a Mimosa breakfast and it's a nice 60 degrees and sunny.

Today, I'm back in New York, it's 24 degrees, and there are snow drifts around my house the size of cars.

I'm beginning to rethink some life choices.

    I was looking at those pics and it was making me rethink some life choices too.  It's been raining here for the last 7 months non-stop I think.
     
    No rain this year so far though, a drought for a whole 90 minutes.
     
    Happy New Year all tho, whatever the weather.

    Great you got to get away from it for a while Randy, my car hasn't moved in 6 days, I've been walking a bit to catch a ride to work with a friend that has a 4 wheel drive. We were lucky for 2 years but the glassier is back

    This morning I was enjoying my morning coffee outside w/ the laptop as usual. Thursday, we're flying to Quebec where they just had the biggest snowstorms we'd seen in decades. Sounds promising...

    I'm sure we'll be pretty happy w/ our life choices and appreciate even more when we get back here. ;)
