[SOLVED] Having trouble with MIDISport 8x8/s

Greetings all,

I am having some trouble with my MIDISport 8x8/s MIDI interface. I use an old MIDI synth (Roland D-20) as my input synth through the MIDISport  8x8/s. When I am using it to play soft synths in X2 or FL Studio it works great! No delays, everything is fast and fluid. The trouble starts when I attempt to use it to play other synths, such as my Roland JV-1080 that are also connected to the MIDI interface on another port.

I've spent hours trying to figure out why soft synths work perfectly, but I get a notable MIDI delay (About 1/4 note at 140BPM). Both receive input from the same MIDI keyboard through the same MIDI interface. So what is causing no delay in getting the MIDI signal from the keyboard, through the interface, and into a DAW while there is a significant delay getting the MIDI signal from the keyboard, through the interface, and into another synth on the same interface? 

Using: Windows 7 SP1, MIDISPORT 8x8/s with latest driver (June 2012), Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi, Creative ASIO (Could not get ASIO4ALL to work at all), Sonar X2 / FL Studio 10 (Same problem in both DAWs)

Based on the test you recommended, this appears to be an audio delay. I was using this same sound card on Windows XP and never experienced this audio delay. Any ideas what sort of trouble shooting steps I can take?
