Nicely done. Not a style of music I enjoy, but it seems well conceived. The only crit I might have mix wise was the hand drum that comes on early was too loud and hollow sounding in comparison to the rest of the mix on my rig and was distracting. Top notch use of effects on this, I am impressed.

Hi blipp, thanks for the complement, I feel honoured :) Hi foxwolven, thanks for listening, even if its not your favourite style of music, and thank you even more for your mostly welcomed constructive critic on the percussion at the intro. I listened back for the first time with some distance after posting the song just now, and I can understand what you mean. An alternatve will be taken into consideration for the final production. thnx again! regards, Daniel

Really cool tune and performances. Clever vocal melody and harmonies and great tone and chops on the guitar. Loved it!

Very fine production! I'm reminded of a certain rocker from New Jersey who's first name is Jon.

Definitely a Bon Jovi vibe, but this is a very accomplished production.

Thanks for your comments, ohgrant, I always have to have a melody first and then build the rest around it... Lynn, I guess I just can't escape the eighties :) jamesg1213, I would never have guessed who Lynn could have ment ;) Thanks again Gentlemen! regards, Daniel

Wow, big and lush and lots going on here. It all sounds great to me. Don't feel bad about being stuck in the eighties, you're twenty years ahead of me. : )

Not a style of music I listen to or really appeals. As noted the production sounds accomplished and sounds balanced here. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your comment, Wookie! It's kind of a relief for me, to hear that the mix seems to translate o.k on different speakers/environments than my own. I'm never to confident about this. Best regards, Daniel

Thanks Rik, (...sorry for late reply) I doubt that my production skill level is high enough to meet industry standards, but It would be nice of course to hear the tune on the radio (...in the car) groetjes, Daniel

Loved everything about this - even though it's not my usual listening genre. Well written, well recorded, and I loved the introduction of strings through the chorus. You should be proud of this one! KEv

Nice one NN. My only crit is the mix seems too dense at times. Mix could use a little sparkle. This is the second time today I've said "sparkle" so maybe it's my ears today

Thanks for listening and feedback! paulo, I periodically check the mix on my little crappy Logitec computerspeakers, A/B mono, stereo. If it it sounds close to acceptable one those, I believe I'm on the right track.(usually) burkek, I take the opportunities to pick up as much knowledge from the roadside as my brain can handle and try to apply it on my musical cunstructs. This awsome forum has helped a lot in many aspects. bapu, highly appreciated critique. ...yeah, the song is kind of packed, I know. Acousticguit, powerguit, twanguit, squealingguit, strings, pads, piano e.c.t. ...Always dangerous territory. I'm still struggeling with frequency management. So much more still to learn. thnx again! all the best, joniel ...oooops
