Clean install query

Hi

Originally bought X1 Producer and got free upgrade to X2 Producer with all the bits and bobs thrown in. Am now planning on wiping the PC and doing a clean install.

However, before I do so, just wanted to make sure all my product keys would be OK? Have this fear that I try to intall all my products again and am unable to do so as the product keys are "currently in use". Is there anything I should do prior to wiping my system to ensure my keys are still usable?

Cheers
Damien

Cakewalk is one of the "nicer" companies in this area, you won't have any issues like that all.

All your product serial numbers and registration codes are kept in your Cakewalk Store account. You can get them from there whenever you need them following a reinstallation. I'd also make a hardcopy of them just as a backup. If you have any problems, Support is very quick and helpful.

Cakewalk uses just straight serial/registration copy protection. There's no dongle and no challenge/response authorization. So after you wipe your PC, just install SONAR again.

Thanks guys, I have all my product keys stored in my emails and all the downloads in CW store and on external HD, just wanted to make sure I wouldn't hit any snags when re-installing.

    Thanks again!
