Bounce to Tracks issue
Hello All, I'm having a problem with Bounce to Tracks. When I do this on one track, while it's loud and clear playing the soft synth normally, after bouncing, the track is quiet and muddy and with no attack. The first track I bounced worked perfectly, but this second one is driving me nuts. Any thoughts?

We're going to need more information in order to help. Source tracks? Are you using FX?

stickman393 We're going to need more information in order to help. Source tracks? Are you using FX? Agree to needing more info.. I'm thinking time based FX or synth has built in time based FX. Always been a problem with bouncing. I fixed a lot of these issues by changing bounce buffer size in config file to zero, IIRC. Without more info I can't recommend anything, though.

Miroslav Philharmonik, Chimes, reverb and eq/comp. I want a sharp attack, and a long ring. However, I had the same settings on the grand piano sample which worked just fine. With the exception of the sample itself, and the output channels from Miro, output 3 instead of 1 (for the piano), the two tracks are set up identically. I find it odd. I would expect it to record what I hear, and not anything else. Oh, x2 studio.

Are you using a bus for any effects or processing. If so is that bus included in your render? Just a thought.

Just like that, you could try unticking: FAST BOUNCE from the bounce menu. if that does not work, try enabling AUDIBLE BOUNCE. then, you'll be able to hear what's been actually bounced. It can occur with some sample-based instruments, that their sample buffering engine goes nuts when bouncing offline. Hope that helps, V

Try making sure your track fader is at 0dB before bouncing

Might have found it. Went through the suggestions above and no go, then tried changing the outputs on the Miro from 3/4 to 1/2... No other changes needed apparently. We'll see what happens on the other tracks next.
